A bit about us
The Museum was established by the N.S.W Steam Preservation Co-operative Society after the collection was moved from Ingleburn to the more permanent site atMenangle in 1978.

The first exhibition at Menangle was staged in 1978 and thereafter at six monthly intervals, now inMay andOctober. Over the years we have had many varied pieces of machinery on display from large steam driven ploughing engines weighing in at 26 tons down to petrol driven washing machines.
We hope to be able to improve the grounds and add more permanent displays in the not too distant future. Including a Blacksmith's shop, a mine display and extensions to the railway.

The museum is run by volunteers giving up their spare time to improve the grounds and displays as well as restoring their own machinery.
