Interesting things I like to do
Computers
I have been working with computers since 1992 - including, installation,
building & setup ( hardware & software / operating systems ), programming
in both Basic & Quick Basic ( I wrote a database program with this ),
3D modeling is my latest interest, and learning as much as I can.
Computer games and simulations
the more involved and realistic the better.
Radio control model boats
Since 1983 I have constructed several kits and scratch
built several models ( some of my own design ), mostly
scale models ( electrically powered ), a yacht and
several speedboats.
Model trains
I have my own 4’ x 8’ HO scale layout - I have been working on it since 1995.
Working features include - Automatic electronic signals, electrically operated
boom gates, lights in all buildings, street lights and end of track markers.
Electronics
I have had an interest ( repairs & constructing ), since 1980 - completed
training at Perth IteC in 1990, further studies at Tafe until 1994.
DIY projects
car repairs / maintenance, furniture making / repairs, and general maintenance.
Science Fiction
Reading books, and movies / TV - Star Trek - Dr Who and any general sci-fi.
