Mcloughlins has the
best of all worlds for fishing; there
is the jetty or Surf fish along the 90-mile beach, fishing by boat
withinthe estuaries. And the waterway
flow from Mcloughlins Beach to Port Albert. 
The best fishing is out through the entrance and into the ocean
but seek advise before making an excite into the ocean.
For Pub Meals call meals the Woodside Pub and generally on Thursday,
Friday and Saturday night the courtesy bus will collect passengers
from Mcloughlins Beach and Woodside beach.
Surf Swimming can be done between the flags at the Woodside Surf
life saving club only 10-Min. drive.
Grocery shopping can be done at Yarram on the South Gippsland Hwy
with a population of 2100 with 2 supermarkets and 2 pubs with plenty
of variety stores.
